Big giant ears on Twitter for charity

DUMBO. Barbar. Ellie. What am I talking about?
Elephants, that’s what.

Twitter is now online with some rather charming big-eared pals from Laikipia, Central Kenya. The Space for Giants charity has set up the account to follow the trumpeting big-footers who go by the names of Evgeny, Tyson, Kimani and Carlos.

Tracking their travels across plains, the account (@SpaceforGiants / #ElephantsLive) will relay information from their fitted GPS collars to show followers their daily routines; where they go, who they meet, what they get up to.

The tweeters will be giving updates of what they’re getting up to, and with a sudden rise in followers, it seems that Space for Giants is making an impact of the Twittersphere. What a brill charity fundraising plan.
